Children's Radio

Children's stations offer music, games, stories with adults and children as hosts. A relative newcomer in the game of "niche" programming, these stations are cropping up in many markets an offer parents an alternative to TV-baby-sitting. Ethnic or foreign language stations are usually brokered operations, selling blocks of time to producers who in turn sell commercials in the community which they serve. This category includes all languages except Spanish stations, which are listed separately.

"Spanish" includes all commercial formats where Spanish is spoken: talk, contemporary music, oldies, etc.
