Ex-KRLA Talker Runs for Mayor

Former talk show host Kevin James is making some headway in his run for mayor of Los Angeles. The Republican politico hosted overnights on KABC before heading over to evenings on KRLA. He was bumped back to overnights to make room for syndicated talker Glenn Beck and remained there until October 2011. James served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Los Angeles and like some other lawyer-turned talk radio personalities, got the radio bug as a guest legal expert on KABC’s Al Rantel Show in 2002.
